K-12 COMMUNITY SCHOOL - ZAMBEZI

The school will consist of 4 blocks of 3 classes and 1 block of 1 class, canteen, restrooms and office. The appearances will be fitting to the environment. The number of students K-12 will be approximately 160. 14 teachers will administer the classes and opportunity for PE, art and music will be provided. The school will follow the Namibian curriculum and link up with, provide and promote access to higher education regionally or in the capital Windhoek. Graduated students’ progress will be monitored and assistance provided for academic scholarships befitting the student’s ambitions.
The basic need for the Sikuzwe K-12 school is estimated as follows:
- Five building blocks of each 3 equal class rooms, each of approximately 12’ x 15’ at $60,000 each
- Benches + Desks adequate for each class age, 13 age groups x 15 units per group $ 5,000 (locally made)
- 1 year payroll for 16 staff $64,000
- Extra curricula items and materials $ 12,000
